Depending upon the person’s environment, the sensors can either alert a pager occupied by a live in / on site carer or go directly through to an Alarm Receiving Centre who will triage the call and may arrange for a nominated family member / other to attend to the person.
• Falls – Our range of Fall Detectors and Sensor Mats provide responsive notifications should a person either fall from standing, out of their bed / chair, or get up unaided. Our extensive range includes cut to size, skin viability approved sensor mats that can work at specified times, and automatic fall detectors that offer varying sensitivity options. All designed to meet the specific needs of the individual.
• Epilepsy – We offer both bed and wearable sensors that are designed to detect movement similar to a tonic-clonic / grand mal seizure. The wearable devices are operable both in the house and out in the community.
• General Home Safety – Sensors include linked Smoke, Gas, and Heat Detectors that can provide an alert should the following be detected: smoke, natural gas, carbon monoxide, and extreme heat. In addition, we offer a flood and water detector that provides an early notification to prevent a flood.
• GPS Tracking – We have a range of GPS tracking devices all designed to keep vulnerable people who are at risk of wandering both safe and independent in the community. In addition to our take along tracking devices, we are the exclusive UK suppliers of the Smartsole – GPS tracking through the insole of a shoe.
