We have been using Log My Care since 2018, and over the years it has become an essential part of how we run our services. What we appreciate most is that the platform genuinely understands the realities of care work—it's practical, simple to use, and it actually makes a difference to both staff and the people we support. At the start, we introduced it into one service, and the positive impact was clear very quickly. Recording daily notes, observations, and important updates became easier and much more consistent. As a result, we expanded its use across our residential services and supported living. What truly stands out is how flexible the system is. We’re able to tailor it to each individual’s needs, which is so important when delivering person-centred care. It doesn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all tool; it adapts as our services and responsibilities grow. Communication has also improved massively. Staff can see updates in real time, which means nothing gets missed at handover. Families and external professionals can be kept informed when appropriate, which has strengthened trust and collaboration. Another real benefit is the reduction in paperwork. Moving to digital logs has saved time, reduced stress, and allowed our team to focus more on direct support rather than admin. It feels like a step forward into more modern, efficient ways of working. From a management perspective, the reporting tools and audit trails have made it easier to monitor quality, identify patterns, and stay on top of compliance. It gives a clearer picture of what’s happening day to day. Overall, Log My Care has been a positive and practical investment for us. It helps us deliver safer, more organised, and more person-centred care—and it’s grown with us over the years.
