Just Checking is a temporary ‘plug & go’ system, consisting of activity, movement and door sensors which generate a chart of activity showing individuals’ day-to-day capabilities. Care professionals can use this information to make more informed decisions, helping them determine the right level of support that individuals need. Notifications can be set up to detect any unusual activity or changes to routine, which can then be investigated by care professionals or families, providing reassurance that individuals are safe and well. In many cases, individuals are able to demonstrate that they can live independently, meaning they can stay in their own homes for longer. Sensors can be easily installed, and the simple ‘plug & go’ hub doesn’t require a Wi-Fi connection. All system activity is captured and audited via an online dashboard, providing comprehensive insight into care planning and provision. Clients who choose our Enhanced Service will have the added benefit of chart summary reporting, where Just Checking will analyse your activity charts and provide insight into the data collected.
Product Features
- The hub – The hub plugs in to a standard plug socket. All sensors send information to the hub to help create evidence-based charts.
- Motion Sensor – The motion sensor detects activity within its allocated room. The motion sensor is wireless and battery operated.
- Activity Sensor – A small and versatile sensor that observes vibrations. Often used on household appliances such as kettles or shower heads. Activity sensors can also identify temperature changes.
- Door Sensor – This two component sensor uses a magnet to signal when a door is opened, closed, or left ajar. Frequently used on front and rear doors but can also be used on drawers or cabinets.
- The motion, activity and door sensors can all be installed with removable Velcro.
- Just Checking does not use cameras or microphones.
